Day 1
Tarangire National park
After your breakfast at the lodge/hotel at Arusha you will be picked by your tour guide and transferred to Tarangire National Park. You will be welcomed by the ancient and gigantic Baobab trees, which make even animals like the giraffe look tiny. The game drive goes on till about late afternoon and includes a small stop for a picnic lunch. The 3,000 Sq Kms Park gets its name from the Tarangire River that flows through it. The river attracts a lot of diverse animals and you should be able to spot a lot of elephants, giraffe, lions, antelopes and zebra. The Tarangire National Park has the highest concentration of elephants, which offers a unique chance for you to observe interactions between elephant families. After your tour around the park, you will be transferred to the Lodge/Camp for your overnight stay.
Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater
You will depart the Lodge/camp around 06:00am and head to the Ngorongoro Crater for your game drive. The crater is not only the largest unbroken caldera in the world but it is also one of the new 7 natural wonders of Africa. Will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day’s safari tour. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. After your tour around at the Ngorongoro Crater, you will be transferred to the lodge/camp for your overnight stay.
Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park - Moshi
You will depart the camp/lodge around 07:00am and head to Lake Manyara National Park for your final game drive. The Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. . After your tour around Lake Manyara National Park, you will be transferred to the Hotel in Moshi for your overnight stay. Dinner & Overnight: Salinero Hotel. Meal Plan: Bed &Breakfast. DEPARTURE. You will be picked up from the hotel and be transferred to the airport to catch up your flight back home.
